Very flexible, with two editable scripts you can perform this production with any number of children from 1 to 90.

Very flexible. Depending on which of the two included scripts you use, the approximate running time is 15-25 minutes. However, this time span can easily be shortened or lengthened significantly. Suggestions for how to do this are included in the detailed ‘Production Notes’ which you find contained within your purchase.

One song and one small section of script talk about Jesus. These can easily be cut out if required, with the rest of the musical still making perfect sense.

Short on rehearsal time? No problem, we know from experience that it’s possible to rehearse the simple version of this play in a few days. What’s the secret? During the show, read from the simple script version, so that no one has any lines to learn. As for the songs, simply divide them up! Don’t get ALL the children to learn ALL the songs, instead share them between children, classes or year groups, so that no one has more than 2 or 3 songs to remember. If you follow this advice to the letter, you may even be able to rehearse this show in just a day! Save even more time and money by downloading now and starting your preparations straight away!

SIMPLE TO USE AND A FANTASTIC RESPONSE FROM THE AUDIENCE

"We performed Our First Easter Show with our whole infant school. [120 children aged 5-7]. Just about the only thing we had to change was the title, as the 'Our First' tag wouldn't have been appropriate. Instead we called it 'The Woodland Animal's Easter Show'. It was great that just about everything was already done for us. The script was simple to use and the songs were divided up between the classes, so no one child had more than three songs to learn, which made it very easy to put together. The response from the audience was very positive, with an extremely long applause and great comments afterwards. So well done. We'll look forward to using your material again."

THANKS FOR THE FUN

"Hi. Thought we'd tell you about how we got on with our first Easter show. I should start by saying that we loved the fact that all the songs use familiar tunes and nursery rhymes. Made it ridiculously easy for the kids to learn. The other staff and myself had a long-lasting game of name-that-tune as we were trying to work out what the original tunes were to each song. Easter Bonnets was the one that caught me out. It was days before my husband pointed out to me that it was the tune from Daisy Daisy! So thanks for the fun. The whole package was fabulous by the way. I especially loved all the extra freebies like the editable scripts, the printing masks and the powerpoints, which makes all the difference. The performance went especially well. We will be back for more next year."
