This simple narrated script can be performed with any number of children. Recommended for 1-40.

Approximately 10-20 minutes depending on how many songs you perform.

Short on rehearsal time? No problem, we know from experience that it’s possible to rehearse the simple version of this play in a few days. What’s the secret? During the show, read directly from the script, so that no one has any lines to remember. As for the songs, simply divide them up! Don’t get ALL the children to learn ALL the songs, instead share them between children, classes or year groups, so that no one has more than 2 or 3 songs to remember. If you follow this advice to the letter, you may even be able to rehearse this show in just a day!
