Very flexible. If performed as written, this assembly will provide spoken lines for at least 80 children. Included within this is a play titled ‘The King & The Seed” which has main acting parts for 4 children, several walk on parts and 17 narrators’ parts. Furthermore, by using the included editable script, we believe it’s possible to divide the whole script up further to create around 150 speaking parts if necessary! Or alternatively, simply shorten it so your assembly can be performed by just a handful of children.
Most of the songs have no obvious religious references, apart from the re-working of the old hymn ‘Come All Thankful People Come’. Similarly, most of the included assembly script has no obvious religious references, though a few sections do mention religious thoughts and do include prayers. However, you can easily use the included editable script to remove these references if necessary. Therefore, we believe that there is something here to suit everyone.
If you’re reading the assembly out yourself, then a ready-to-use version is included which will take virtually no preparation time. If you are using the children’s script version, then we believe it’s possible to teach a simple version of this assembly to a group of children in just a few hours. To prepare the full version will take several days work. Please note this is not a guarantee.
