There are three different musicals, each with a few script variations:

  1. ‘The Nutty Nutcracker Nativity’ – Join the Nutcracker and Clara as they journey into the magical realm of the Sugar Plum Fairy to battle the villainous Mouse-King (a dance-battle, that is). Two versions: FULL-LENGTH for ages 9-11+ and SHORTENED for ages 7-9.
  2. ‘The Magic Before Christmas’ – The funny tale of a group of toys who come to life in the early hours of Christmas morning and try to discover what ‘Christmas’ is all about. THREE versions: SIMPLE for ages 5-7, SHORTENED for ages 7-9 and FULL-LENGTH for ages 9-11+.
  3. ‘The Year 2100 Christmas Reunion’ – A humorous time-travelling treat, jumping decades into the future to see how the children’s lives have turned out. Two versions: FULL-LENGTH for ages 9-11+ and SHORTENED for ages 7-9.

Five of the scripts also have an optional nativity scene, giving 12 possible script variations in total. And as every script is fully editable, the sky’s the limit!

All script versions are very flexible and work with any number of children from 20 to 200. The shortened version of ‘The Year 2100 Christmas Reunion’ could even be performed by a small group.

Very flexible! Your show can run for anything from 30 to 70 minutes, depending on which script version you use and how many songs you perform.

We recommend at least five days of rehearsal time for any of these musicals. The shortened version of ‘The Year 2100 Christmas Reunion’ could be rehearsed in just a few days, while the FULL-LENGTH ‘Nutty Nutcracker Nativity’ will probably need at least two weeks. Every group is different, so please listen to the songs and look through the material before deciding how much time your pupils will need.

All but one of the scripts include minor religious elements, but these are very easy to cut out completely if you prefer.

VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE

"I was immensely impressed. The audience were completely captivated throughout. Even though we are a very large school there was something for everyone to do, be it acting, singing or dancing. The children got a great thrill from the songs and could often be heard singing them in the playground. The script was amazing. There were plenty of laugh out loud moments, but also a few tear jerkers. Through it all, the true meaning of Christmas was cleverly explained and I very much liked the way that by the end of the play the characters changed from being self-centred, to being loving and caring as part of one big family. A very, very impressive musical in keeping with the true spirit of Christmas."
