"A lovely performance which parents and children thoroughly enjoyed. The easily adaptable script suited the varying needs and large numbers of pupils. The children enjoyed the songs and were able to pick them up very quickly. We really liked all the accompanying resources and suggestions. Wonderful!"

This simple Christmas performance comes with two editable scripts. In both scripts, seven crackers are brought on stage (staging ideas included with your purchase). Each cracker has a letter on the front, so that side-by-side they spell the word C-R-A-C-K-E-R. Each letter stands for a festive item (or festive theme) that has been hidden inside that cracker. As the crackers are then pulled one-by-one through the show, the children sing a song about what was hidden in each cracker.

The main script is suitable for infants (ages 5-7) and consists of the nine songs interspersed with plenty of rhyming narrators’ parts.

The simplified version is more suitable for younger preschool children (ages 3-5). Here the script is intended to be read out by an adult or older children.

If you stick exactly to either script, this performance should take about 25 minutes. If this is too long or too short for you, suggestions are included as part of the material you receive, which should help you easily shorten or lengthen the production by
10-15 minutes either way.

We believe that this musical needs a minimum of two days rehearsal time. Please note, this is not a guarantee. Please listen to the songs and view the material before deciding how much rehearsal time your pupils will require.

The final song and final section of script does mention the biblical nativity story.
