Any number of children from 10 to 100+.

Stick exactly to the script and sing every song, and the full script runs for around 30 minutes, the simple script about 23 minutes. You can easily trim or stretch it by 10-15 minutes either way with the editable scripts – the detailed ‘Production Notes’ in your purchase show you how.

We recommend at least three days of rehearsal time. Every group is different, though, so please listen to the songs and look through the material before deciding how much time your pupils will need.

No, this show isn’t religious. One song and one script section mention the nativity story, but they’re very easy to cut if you prefer.

VERY FLEXIBLE

"I've used Our 1st Christmas Play in 2 different settings now and wanted to share my experiences. The first time was 3 years ago with a reception class of 4-5 year olds. We used the full script, with all 10 songs included and it was big, big hit with the parents and staff. It was very easy to produce and the children excelled in their performance with beautiful solos and humorous acting. The second time was last year in my new school with a nursery class of mainly 3 year olds, most of whom were working at a level more akin to that of 2 year olds!! So this time I used the simple (narrators’ parts only) script. I then also cut out 4 songs and made a few changes to the songs that were left... either singing very slowly with no accompaniment, or using 'music and movement' instead of singing, with added percussion instruments in the background. It was still a great success and just shows what a very flexible production this is. Well done Learn2soar."

How much does a nativity play pack cost?
Most Learn2soar Christmas titles are from £45, and Christmas Play in ONE Day is £30. The price includes everything: scripts, audio tracks, words on screen, sheet music, scenery and a year's licence for unlimited performances. There are no per-performance fees. Prices show automatically in your local currency.
How quickly can I get it?
Straight away. Every title is a Digital Publication, available on any device the moment you order, anywhere in the world.
What format is the script in?
You get an e-book (PDF) plus editable scripts included as standard with no extra charge, so you can easily change parts and names. Most titles include two or three script versions.
Can schools pay by invoice?
Yes. Recognised UK schools can choose Pay by Invoice at checkout. Everyone else can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Can I buy from outside the UK?
Yes. We've supplied customers in over a hundred countries, and prices appear in your local currency. Digital Publications are available worldwide. The CD in the Complete Pack is posted within the UK only.
Can I get a CD?
In the UK only, the Complete Pack adds an audio CD posted to you, alongside everything in the Digital Publication.
How many staff can use it?
The included User Licence covers up to 4 devices. Site Licences are available if more staff need access.
Do we need a licence, and can we film it?
Yes, a licence is needed even with free admission, but with Learn2soar it's included at no extra cost: unlimited performances for a year, plus a Recording Licence to share or stream free to up to 50 users. More about licences, filming and streaming.
Will it renew automatically?
No. Your licence lasts one year from purchase, with no automatic renewal.
