Age Range
We recommend it for ages 3-7, but there’s no reason this flexible show can’t be used with younger or older children too.
For older children, simply drop the ‘Our First’ branding – we’ve included a plain ‘Cinderella’ option for your posters and programmes.
For younger children, have an adult or older child read the narrated script, cut one or two songs, and don’t worry about learning ALL the rest – some can be performed through dance, movement or actions instead. Easy!
Cast Size
Very flexible! Perform it with any number of children from 2 to 200+, depending on the content you choose.
Running Time
Stick exactly to either script and sing every song, and the show runs for 20-25 minutes. You can easily trim or stretch it by up to 15 minutes either way using the editable scripts and the staging notes in your purchase.
Rehearsal Time
A simple version could be rehearsed in just a day or so – stick to the narrated script, read out by adults, and don’t worry about ‘learning’ every song.
To really do it justice, though, we’d recommend at least five days of rehearsal time.
Every group is different, so please listen to the songs and look through the scripts before deciding how much time your cast will need.
