Both scripts are flexible and work with any number of children from 2 to 80+.

Stick exactly to either script and the show runs for about 40-50 minutes. Too long or too short? The suggestions in your purchase help you easily trim or stretch it by 20-25 minutes either way.

We recommend at least five days of rehearsal time. Every group is different, though, so please listen to the songs and look through the material before deciding how much time your pupils will need.

"Just to let you know that our performance of 'The Egyptian Nativity' went down a real treat. Parents were full of praise for the humour so perfectly combined with the true message of Christmas. For myself, it was a pleasure to direct this play with my class. The script was amusing, clearly laid out and highly original. I loved the fact that there was so much scope for improvisation. The children loved performing this play and enjoyed adding dance and actions to the songs. (line dancing for 'Mary is Going to have a Baby....(Yeehaa's and all) and Egyptian inspired dances composed during several energetic PE lessons). My favourite part of this play has to be the song 'Tomorrow'. This is one of the most moving songs that I have come across in a nativity play.....ever. Well done. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing your next composition because I hope to put on another of your plays next year."
