Overview
"The children couldn't get enough of these songs... and the play and the backing music were all just fantastic! Very easy to learn. Highly recommended."
‘Will Santa Get Shot Down’ is for ages 7-11 and comes with a wonderful editable script packed with speaking parts. Many of the songs use genuine 1940s-style music, and with sound effects, PowerPoints and detailed staging advice included, you’ve got everything you need for a perfect Christmas show – and a brilliant way to bring your WW2 history topic to life.
IMPORTANT: Despite the title, there are definitely NO guns or shooting of any kind! The title comes from a line in the script where the main character worries about how Santa will deliver the presents while an air raid is going on.
"Fantastic! The resources saved me days of work! The response from the parents was amazing. Many said it was the best Christmas play they had ever seen! Many thanks."

Cast Size
Very flexible: a minimum of 6 children and a maximum of 60 – plus plenty of scope for dozens of optional extra parts, so well over 100 children could have a role. Detailed advice on adding these extra roles is included in your purchase.
Running Time
Stick exactly to the script and the show runs for around 40-50 minutes, depending on the gaps between songs and scenes. Too long or too short? The suggestions in your purchase help you trim or stretch it by 10-15 minutes either way.
Rehearsal Time
We recommend at least 10 days of rehearsal time. Every group is different, though, so please listen to the songs and look through the material before deciding how much time your cast will need.
Is It Religious?
No, this musical isn’t religious. Two songs briefly mention the nativity story, but they could easily be left out if needed.
