Our response to the situation in Ukraine

We are completely appalled at the unjustified, barbaric invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces. We hope and pray for a swift and peaceful resolution.

As a company, there are several areas of our business operations that we have had to re-evaluate in light of this Russian aggression towards a peaceful neighbouring country, and the unparalleled refugee crisis that Russia’s monstrous acts have created:

With Regards to our Russian Customers

Like every other UK company, we are now looking carefully at the business we do with Russia. It is true that our sales in this location have historically been a lot lower than most other nations. Just a few dozen orders over the last 20 years. Nevertheless, we still feel that for the time being, we should no longer provide goods and services to Russian customers.

Donations

We have looked back over our company’s entire history for the last two decades and calculated all the money we have ever taken from any customer located in Russia or Belarus (full turnover, not just profits) and have made a donation equal to this total towards the Ukraine refugee crisis appeal, via the Disasters Emergency Committee (dec.org.uk).

Affected Publications

Four of our publications have been affected by the war in Ukraine. We have had to re-evaluate each one and are dealing with each in slightly different ways: (more…)

DESCRIPTION:

An easy-to-use, short children’s musical, perfect for harvest 2021, but equally suitable for any time of the year.

‘The Little Black Cloud’ tells the story of a nice friendly cloud who just wants to share his lovely rain. To his surprise though, he finds that most people don’t seem to want it! He then meets a farmer whose crops are dying because of a drought. Can the Little Black Cloud save the harvest?

‘Zooming On Leavers Assembly’ has now been completely updated. It contains New Lyric Videos for every vocal track and every backing track. Click the image above to go to a YouTube playlist, containing two complete videos.

Any Leavers Assembly 2020 could be problematic for schools, but we think ‘Zooming On’ offers a perfect, socially distanced solution.

This assembly pack has now been almost completely transformed since it was first released several years ago. As well as the new lyric videos, it also contains remixed MP3 vocal and backing tracks. Plus, a new longer script, updated sheet music, songsheet, PowerPoints and artwork.

Socially Distance Your Leavers Assembly

But with the current Coronavirus pandemic, many schools are wondering if, when and how they can still hold any type of Leavers Assembly during 2020. We believe that Zooming On provides a great solution. You can read the script out, with no acting, and no need for any of the pupils to get close to each other. You can perform the songs as solos, rather than group singing (which appears to be frowned on at the moment).

And what about the audience? Well if you are unable to perform outdoors to a socially distanced audience, then why not record your performance and put the video on your school website or YouTube channel. Remember to password protect it so that only pupils, staff and families from your school can see it. If not, then you may be in breach of copyright laws. If you need any help with this, then we’re very happy to offer assistance.
